Selena Gomez is gearing up for her performance at MTV’s New Year’s Eve, but she took some time out to send a message to her fans on facebook.
Selena wrote, “Belated Merry Christmas everybody.. I can’t thank you enough for all of your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate every one of you.. I love you all so much and we hope you and your family had a beautiful Christmas!

Selena’s mom recently suffered a miscarriage and the family named the baby Scarlett.
