Shay Mitchell is the cover girl for the annual issue where she recalls her own prom experience and who her dream date is, and we think he’s ours as well.
On going to prom solo: “I was dating my first boyfriend in high school for a long time, and we broke up before prom. I hadn’t met anyone else that I really wanted to go with, and my friends have always been amazing. So I went with my friends and got a million photos with them!”
On asking guys out: “In high school, I knew the guys, so I would have asked. Now I’m the shy girl! I see a cute guy in Starbucks and I’m like…Oh..Okay, and I walk out. But who knows? Maybe I will ask somebody on a date soon!”
On her dream prom date: “Ryan Gosling. He is so cute and funny. It’s important to have a date who can make you laugh, not someone you’re going to feel nervous around.”
