McFly now has the king of the jungle and the king of the dance floor! Drummer Harry Judd was crowned the winner of this year’s season of U.K. show “Strictly Come Dancing” (the UK version of “Dancing with the Stars”).

Judd, who was partnered by professional dancer Aliona Vilani, beat actress Chelsee Healey and Australian singer Jason Donovan in the live final on Saturday night. After impressing the judges and winning full marks for his Argentine Tango, Judd was named the winner of the contest and said as he collected the trophy, “All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported Aliona and I.

“I have had the most incredible experience, thank you. I’ve been on the best show on TV and I’m just honoured. I was so nervous when I first started, I didn’t think I’d be able to do it, but Aliona has got me through it.”

When host Bruce Forsyth announced the results, the musician’s bandmates Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones all stormed on to the stage to congratulate the star.

After the show, Judd tweeted, “WOW! Thank you so much to everyone that voted for me and @AlionaVilani. Completely overwhelmed. Such an amazing night!!”

Judd’s bandmate Dougie Poynter recently won the latest season of the UK’s “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.” Congrats Harry!
