Miley Cyrus attended the 2011 American Giving Awards at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles on Friday evening.
The 1st annual award show honored Colin Farrell with the inaugural AGA Leadership Award for his philanthropic endeavors. Fans also had the chance to vote for their favorite charity and the winning charity received a $1 million grant from Chase.
Miley is a strong supporter of To Write Love On Her Arms, which was one of the finalists and won the $1 million grant. To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
Miley will also be presenting at the CNN Heroes All-Star Tribute tonight.
