Selena Gomez shows off her serious side in this new photo from Interview Magazine.
The 19-year-old is best known for her more family friendly roles, but she’s looking to broaden her horizons now that she’s finished with “Wizards of Waverly Place.” She would love to work with directors like David Fincher (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Social Network) and Martin Scorsese (Hugo, Taxi Driver). She tells the mag, “I’m the type to show up on David Fincher’s doorstep and say, ‘I promise I’ll be good!’What happens next—that’s the scary-slash-brilliant part.”
Selena also announced some exciting news over the Thanksgiving holiday. She’s going to be a big sister!! She tweeted a sweet picture of her mom Mandy and stepdad Brian saying, “Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news… My mommys carrying my baby brother or sister 🙂 I’m the happiest girl in the world!”
