Goodnight Tree Hill…
The cast and crew of the CW’s long running show “One Tree Hill” finished up the filming of their very last episode today. As if we weren’t sad enough about the show ending, the cast have been tweeting pictures from set all week.
What we’ve learned from the cast’s twitpics is that Gavin DeGraw will return to perform at Tric and the majority of the cast is back including Skills (Antwon Tanner). The only original cast member to not return in some capacity for the final season is Hilarie Burton, who joked with E! at the premiere of Breaking Dawn that she thinks Peyton is probably pregnant with multiple children, so that’s why she couldn’t make the return.
It’s so hard to believe that “One Tree Hill” is finally signing off after 9 years and 187 episodes. How does the cast feel about the show ending?
James Lafferty – “As One Tree Hill wraps today, I think we all owe a thank you to Mark Schwahn. He dreamed it all up and changed our lives. #ThanksMastermind.”
Sophia Bush – “And that’s a wrap. Oh my heart. To end where it all began … #GoodnightBrookeDavis #OhHowIveLovedYouOTH”
Shantel VanSanten – “Its officially #GoodNightTreeHill…Thanks to MARK is due for this ‘EPIC SHOW THAT DID’ change all our lives. Even the sky is crying #blessed”
Austin Nichols – “This is The End. Thank you to everyone. This has been beyond meaningful. #GoodNightTreeHill”
Stephen Colletti – “Watching the last shot to be filmed in Tree Hill, for good… #ThankYouMarkSchwahn #Reflection #Grateful … Or at least until the movie…”
How dare you even put that thought into our heads Stephen!!! (Dear Mark Schwahn, can we somehow make that happen?) You can watch the final 13 episodes of “One Tree Hill” starting January 11, 2012 at 8pm on The CW. We already have our kleenex ready.
