Amazing! The first official trailer for The Hunger Games has been released and in our opinion, it’s everything we wanted…now we just want more!
The first teaser that premiered at the MTV VMA’s gave us a snippet of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in the woods and this time around we get a look at a lot more. The full trailer premiered this morning on Good Morning America and gives viewers a glimpse into Panem and all of the action leading up to Katniss’ start at the games.
In the trailer, you can see snippets of Katniss and Gale (Liam Hemsworth) hunting in the woods, the reaping, Katniss and Gale’s last talk before she heads to the games, Katniss’ makeover (complete with leg waxing), Katniss and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) bonding before the games, their training and alas, their entrance into the games.
The trailer also offers glimpses at many of other characters including Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks), Cinna (Lenny Kravitz), Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), Prim (Willow Shields), Cato (Alexander Ludwig), Rue (Amandla Stenberg) and Seneca Crane (Wes Bentley).
