Lucy Hale plants a kiss on the cheek of a lucky troop during the 3rd Annual Kisses for the Troops in NYC on Friday.
The 21-year-old joined Cosmopolitan and Maybelline for their Kisses for the Troops campaign in which the public was invited to give a kiss on a postcard for the troops. The postcards will be delivered to those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan just in time for New Year’s Eve. Also, for every postcard, Cosmo and Maybelline will be donating a dollar to the USO.
“It’s a great way to show our appreciation and gratitude,” Lucy said about the campaign. She had a little trouble though figuring out what to put on her postcard. “I’m not sure yet,” she said of what to write. “There are no words that express how grateful I am for the troops…but I’m going to try!”
