Paul Wesley will get to work with a familiar face soon on “The Vampire Diaries” – his wife Torrey Devitto!
THR revealed this morning that the “Pretty Little Liars” and “One Tree Hill” veteran will be joining the hit CW vampire show as Mary, an intelligent young doctor intrigued by Alaric’s (Matt Davis) powers of recovery. She’s set to appear in Episodes 310 and 311 with a strong possibility of returning for more.
In more TVD casting news, the show has finally cast Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) mother. “Girlfriends” star Persia White will take on the role of the mother who abandoned the young witch. She will make her first appearance in episode 312. Persia’s character Abby is described as a beautiful but troubled woman who is burdened by the secrets of her past that led her to leave Bonnie.
The mid-season finale of “The Vampire Diaries” airs tomorrow night at 8pm on the CW and we’re sure it’s going to be an episode you don’t want to miss.
