My World 2.0 debuted at #1 on the Billboard Charts selling 283,000.
Justin is the youngest male solo artist since Stevie Wonder to have a #1 album. His first album, My World, also climbed up on the charts to land at #5 this week. He is also the first act to concurrently chart two albums within the top five of the Billboard 200 since the chart dated Oct. 9, 2004.
What a big week for Justin! Rumor has it he’ll be performing on “American Idol” tonight. (Update: Justin has apparently taped a performance which will air on the show at a later date)
