–Kellan Lutz will be taking on the role of “Poseidon” in the upcoming War of the Gods, according to Variety.
The movie based on Greek Mythology also stars Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto. Tarsem Singh is directing with production set to start in April.
The movie follows a young warrior, Theseus, who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods to defeat evil elder gods of the Titans in order to save mankind.
Kellan can also be seen in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Nightmare on Elm Street, Warrior, & Meskada, all due out this year.
