The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is an emotional celebration of courageous breast cancer survivors and a memorial for those who have lost their battle with the disease. It raises awareness of the importance of early detection and self advocacy and provides funding for national breast cancer research and local breast cancer treatment.
