–Cody Linley recently dropped by the JSYK studios to talk about everything from his new play to video games.
On “Over Here:” It’s a 1940’s musical and I play a young soldier named “Bill” who’s going off to war. It all takes place on a trail from LA to New York. There’s an amazing ensemble cast, an 18-piece big band…In March we’ll be in Beverly Hills for 3 months and then in June we’ll be on Broadway performing.
On NYC: I didn’t take the subway, but cabs are crazy. I love the sights and I went shopping. It’s a fun town for sure. New York City, there’s nothing like it.
On if he’s a big gamer: I am, I totally am. I love the Wii, I love XBox, PS3, I got them all. I play video games a lot actually.
On playing video games with Miley Cyrus: I’ve played Guitar Hero with Miley. She’s actually totally a rock star. I gotta give her the props. She’s got the Guitar Hero down. I think I could give her a run for her money when it comes to the real guitar. She’s a good guitarist, but I’m a great guitarist too. We like to jam. It’s a fun time.
