–Taylor Swift looks shocked as she accepts the Grammy for Album of the Year at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday evening. The 20-year-old picked up the top honors for her album Fearless, beating out Beyonce, Kings of Leon, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, and the Dave Matthews Band. Taylor is the youngest artist to ever take home the coveted award.
Taylor took home a total of 4 awards from the 8 she was nominated for. She won two in the pre-telecast: Best Country Song & Best Country Female Vocal for “White Horse.” She also won Best Country Album in addition to Album of the Year. Taylor also performed a medley of songs at the show and had the chance to perform with one of her heroes, Stevie Nicks. It was truly a night the young singer will never forget.
Taylor tweeted: I will remember this night, this celebration, the screaming and hugging of people I love. The words on cards of hotel room good luck roses.. Taylor is now heading over to Australia and Japan as part of her “Fearless Tour.”
