–Waiting, the 6 song EP from former Varsity Fanclub member Thomas Fiss is set to release on January 19. Fans of the boyband were concerned when Fiss left, but he shared “I know my fans have been there for me since I left Varsity Fanclub, so I wanted to give them something special back, and what better way than with this EP to thank them for all their support.”
The EP can be pre-ordered at thomasfissmusic.com and will include 6 brand new songs, a custom, personalized Valentine from Thomas himself as well as a second copy of the EP for a friend just in time for Valentine’s Day. “My hand is tired from writing out all of these Valentines – but my fans deserve it! They are the best,” Thomas says.
To celebrate his release week, Thomas will be performing on the Fox 5 San Diego on January 19th, followed by a live, online acoustic performance on Justin.TV. He will be doing additional concerts at the Boys and Girls Club in Los Angeles on January 22nd, and will round out the week with a concert for over 1,000 Girl Scouts at the San Diego Zoo. Fiss, a San Diego native, is quick to give back to the local area, so a show at the Zoo to support the Girl Scouts was a perfect fit: “Who doesn’t love Girl Scout cookies and want to hang out at the San Diego Zoo?”
Expect more big things from Thomas this year. He will be appearing in new feature films and recording his debut full-length album out later this year.
