–Nick Jonas surprised fans in NYC on Friday night by calling his brothers Joe and Kevin on stage after performing “The Black Keys.” The trio then went into an acoustic performance of the first song they ever wrote together, “Please Be Mine.” Nick also had fun covering songs like “Fireflies”, “Use Somebody” and even “Empire State of Mind” and “Catch Me””, which he co-wrote with Demi Lovato.
Nick and his band, The Administration put on a great performance during their second sold out show at the Beacon Theater. They performed songs from their debut album, Who I Am, including “State of Emergency”, “Rose Garden”, and “Last Time Around”. They also performed a few songs that aren’t on the album, including two of our favorites from the night, “While the World is Spinning” (which he wrote while filming “Camp Rock 2”) and “Stay” (which he wrote earlier in the week during a day off in Washington, DC).
Nick had a blast at the show and tweeted: Tonight was truly a night I will never forget. Thank you. Tonight and tomorrow, NJ&TA will be playing in Philadelphia before heading up to Boston.
