-Check out the trailer for the CW’s new show, “Life UneXpected.” The show will premiere on January 18th and air in “Gossip Girl’s” spot at 9pm EST while it’s on winter hiatus. Then it will switch and air during “One Tree Hill’s” time slot at 8pm EST on March 8 while that show is on hiatus “Gossip Girl” will return with all new episodes. “Life UneXpected” stars 19-year-old Brittany Robertson, Shiri Appleby, Kristoffer Polaha & Kerr Smith. The show is already getting great critic buzz.
Synopsis: Fifteen year-old Lux has spent her life going from foster family to foster family. She has finally decided to become an emancipated minor. During her journey through the legal maze, Lux finds her biological father, 30-something Nate “Baze” Bazile, who lives above a bar and is astonished to learn he has a daughter. Lux learns that her mother is Cate Cassidy, a star on local radio, along with her boyfriend, Ryan Thomas. A judge decides to grant temporary custody of Lux to Baze and Cate instead of emancipating her.
