–Justin Bieber has been having one heck of a year. Besides having his album, My World, debut at #6 on the Billboard charts, the 15-year-old singer is the first to have all 7 songs from his CD debut in the Billboard Hot 100. The album sold 136,741 units in the US and also debuted at #1 in Canada.
Justin’s release of My World marks the highest debut (in units) of any new artist in 2009. He is the first solo artist ever to send four songs from a debut album into the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 prior to his album’s release. At the same time, Justin has surpassed 100 million YouTube.com video views (the first 50 million of them as an amateur starting in 2007, posting his own renditions of favorite Usher, Ne-Yo and Stevie Wonder songs).
