Debby Ryan: Tween Summit Terrific


Debby Ryan squeezes in the middle of boyband Wow at the AllyKatzz Tween Summit Music Festival which was part of the First National Tween Girl Summit in Washington, DC on Saturday.

The daylong Summit, presented by AK Tweens and, was a one-of-a-kind event welcoming 300 tween girls, ages 9-14, from across the U.S. The Tween Summit examined the minds, motivation, and lives of these passionate, vocal girls, giving them a platform to voice their thoughts in the Nation’s Capital. Through this unique opportunity, tween girls will be heard by attending policy makers, tween experts, celebrities, marketers, media, and parents. The day culminates in the creation of an “I Pledge” video, with the girls committing to positive change and community service.

The concert event was hosted by Debby and featured performances by Brooke White, teen rock band Comic Book Heroes, and the energetic fun boy band WOW. The show opened with tween singers and dancers Cymphonique and Jacob Latimore.
