Emily Osment’s Debut Album Looking At March Release

USA Today recently caught up with Emily Osment to chat about her budding music career. A tentative release date of March 9 has been set for Osment’s still-untitled debut album, which is being produced by Matt Squire.

More from the article: Osment, who is still recording, describes her music as “definitely pop, but with an alternative-rock edge. It’s music you’ll want to play in the car with the windows rolled down.” The budding singer/songwriter collaborated on tunes with Tom Higgenson of the Plain White T’s and Eve 6’s Max Collins and Tony Fagenson. The latter pair co-wrote a track called “All the Way Up”, which will premiere on Radio Disney and online in August. An accompanying video has been shot, featuring members of the band Push Play.

“My whole family is musical,” Osment says, including big brother and fellow actor Haley Joel Osment. “This has been a dream of mine for a very long time.”

Emily’s song, “All the Way Up” made it’s debut in the pilot episode for “10 Things I Hate About You” on Tuesday night. Did you catch it when Kat & Bianca pulled up to the school? To check out more music from that episode, go HERE.
