–Ashley Tisdale dropped by MTV Buzzworthy last month. The singer/actress took some time to answer fan questions and even gives a shoutout to “Spectacular” star Simon Curtis who who Tweeted to Buzzworthy and told her to say hi to Ashley for him!
On why she named the album “Guilty Pleasure”: “I’m someone who doesn’t take myself too seriously. I like to laugh at myself. And I’m hoping to be your guilty pleasure [laughs]. My guilty pleasure is obviously Coffee Bean ice blends.”
Differences between “Headstrong” & “Guilty Pleasure”: “Headstrong, I was first learning about myself as an artist. This album I knew exactly what I wanted. I came up with the whole concept, the message of the album. It’s more rock, guitar driven…It reflects on where I am in my life right now.”
On the message of the album: “I’m growing up. I’m not just the girl from Disney. I am 23 years old. It reflects where I am in my life right now. I’ve grown a lot, I’ve matured a lot. I’m not trying to run away from anything. If anything, I hope my fans are growing with me. The whole message is I’m not just that girl. There’s a lot to me that people don’t know. There’s a little bit of an edgy side to me as well and I’m showing that as well.
