-Happy 2009. Just wanted to write and say a big THANK YOU for helping make 2008 AMAZING for us at SO-M. It’s been an incredible year. We were able to bring you a lot of interviews, including the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato (twice), Honor Society, Push Play, Varsity Fanclub, Article A and more. We will have more interviews in 2009! We also brought you lots of concert videos and pictures from some of the hottest acts of the year. It brought our video count on youtube to 425 videos and our gallery has over 98,000 pictures. We’ve brought you the latest news, video clips and happenings of your faves. This really has been our comeback year after 2007 being a little slow us. Thank you for helping us to bounce back. This site would not exist without you all.
We closed the year by starting our first ever “Shining Star Awards.” The turnout has been amazing and the results so far are surprising, but exciting. Be sure that you keep voting for your faves, including group of the year, celebrity of the year, favorite fansite, and more. Vote HERE. Voting ends January 5.
We’re very excited for 2009. We’re not quite sure what the future holds, but we hope it will be another amazing year. We’ll post our first interview of the year tomorrow, it’s with School Boy Humor. We’ll also premiere our special episode of “Shine On Media: Pads” that we did with Honor Society and more. We’ll also have a special download for Jonas Brothers fans coming soon that we hope you’ll like. We might even reach into our vault of video footage that we’ve never released and put some up. You never know what 2009 will hold.
