“Dadnapped” tells the story of Melissa Morris (Osment) who desperately tries to gain more attention from her always preoccupied father, best-selling author Neal. Melissa lives in the shadow of Tripp Zoome, the adventurous and clever hero from her father’s popular spy novels. During a long overdue father-daughter vacation, an unexpected detour leads to her father’s kidnapping, first by overzealous fans and then again by two brothers with ulterior motives. Melissa suddenly finds herself living in her own adventurous Tripp Zoome plot and is forced to find the courage and know-how to find her missing dad, on “Dadnapped” airing February 2009 on Disney Channel.
