How old were you when you had your first kiss?
It was a dare on a cruise ship on my 13th birthday!
Who’s your celebrity crush?
Giada De Laurentiis. I can’t even say her name but I have a big crush on her because she’s beautiful and she’s an amazing cook! All the food she makes looks so enjoyable. What can I say? I love food and I like pretty girls! My favorite meal is steak and sweet potatoes and iced sweet tea. Oh my gosh, I’d be won over if a girl made that for me, honestly.
What’s the girl fashion trend that confuses the heck out of you?
Crocs. Those shoes on girls kind of freak me out.
What’s the chick flick you secretly love?
Titanic. I really like Leonardo DiCaprio and I remember when it came out because it was such a huge movie — everyone loved it — but since it was a love story, it was definitely not a cool movie to like. So I didn’t tell my brothers that I really liked the movie.
What’s your TV guilty pleasure?
The Game Show Network. I’ve always wanted to be on Family Feud. I thought that looked really fun because it’s not that hard. And my family would be so up for that! We’re all really competitive, so we’d be perfect for the show!
Who would play you in the movie version of your life?
It’s tied between two people: Owen Wilson and Jack Black. The first person that came to mind when I thought about it was Jack Black because some of the things he does sometimes remind me of myself. He’s so wild and crazy – especially with the guitar – like me. But then I was like, he looks nothing like me… and Owen Wilson’s got similar hair!
What’s your dream job?
My dream job would be to play James Bond in the film. Ever since I was a little kid I’ve always wanted to be James Bond.
If you could trade places with anyone in the world for one day, who would it be?
I would say Lebron James. I love basketball and growing up I played a lot so I always wanted to be in the NBA. Now I still play basketball and I act — that’s my “thang.” But it would be awesome to be in the NBA for a day.
Who in your family are you closest to?
I’m really close with all of my family. But the person I talk to the most about everything is my step-brother Scott who’s 18 as well. But we’ve been brothers since I was 2 years old. So we’re almost like twins! We’re going through the same stuff all the time so we talk to each other a lot.
What’s your favorite website?
I’d say acneheroes.com. It clears up all the myths about acne, like, “Oh yeah, if you wash your face five times a day then you’ll be like five times cleaner,” or “If you eat chocolate, it’s going to cause break-outs.” You know you’ve heard them and some of them you’re like, “I thought that was true,” or some of it you’re like, “I didn’t really eat that much chocolate because I thought it might be true!” It clears all that stuff up.
What’s the fast food you can’t live without?
Definitely Chick-fil-A. There is not a Chick-fil-A anywhere near me out here in L.A. The closest one is in Orange County — an hour away. My friends make field trips every now and then — that’s how much we all care about Chick-fil-A!
What’s your worst habit?
My worst habit is drumming on tables. I can’t sit still. I used to get in trouble in school for always drumming, talking, beat boxing, and singing. But I was still a pretty good student.
What’s the last song you listened to on your iPod?
“D.A.N.C.E.” by Justice.
What’s the last thing you bought?
The last thing I bought, I’m really, really excited about. I haven’t bought anything cool in a long time and so this Labor Day I went to Guitar Center and I just got a whole bunch of cool stuff for my living room. I got two LED lights, a fog machine, crazy lasers, four huge black lights, a microphone, and a speaker.
What did you dream about last night?
Just the other day I was dreaming about dancing while I was sleeping, and I kid you not, I woke up… dancing. I was sweating and dancing around in my bed. It was very odd. I got up and I walked to the bathroom and I had a little groove in my step like I was still dancing.
How much money is in your wallet right now?
I think I have $60 and you know what’s weird? I have three different currencies in my wallet. I have fifty pesos, ten Canadian dollars, and then like forty dollars in American money. I went to both Cancun and Montreal this summer and I haven’t turned them to exchange them because it’s still cool to have them, I guess.
Fill in the blank: When I was 17, I was ____________.
Laughing.
