Jesse McCartney to Open for Backstreet Boys’ “In A World Like This” Tour

The Backstreet Boys just announced their summer tour on Ryan Seacrest this morning and Jesse will be one of the opening acts on the “In A World Like This” tour! Also opening will be DJ Pauly D.

“ITS OFFICIAL! I’m going on tour! Hittin the road w/ the @backstreetboys & @DJPaulyD Aug 2nd!! Tix on sale Fri. RETWEET if ur coming!,” Jesse wrote today. We are definitely excited to hear some new music from JMac. We’ve been waiting forever! Until then, you can catch Jesse on “Army Wives.” There’s only two more episodes left this season!

The “In A World Like This” tour kicks off on August 2 in Chicago and tickets go on sale May 17, this Friday!

Selena Gomez to Be a Big Sister and Says She’s Single

selenagomez-mandy-051313 Sunday was a very special Mother’s Day for Selena Gomez! She announced she’s going to be a big sister.

Rumors started a few weeks ago that Selena’s mom, Mandy Teefey, was pregnant again when fans noticed a baby bump while taking pics with her at the Radio Disney Music Awards. Now, Selena has taken to twitter to confirm the exciting news.

Selena wrote, “Hope all the amazing moms had a great day! I have the best momma in the world ) I love you so much!” The tweet was accompanied by a sweet picture of Selena with her hands on Mandy’s growing bump.

This is very happy news as Mandy suffered a miscarriage back in 2011. Big congrats to Brian, Mandy & Selena!

In other news, Selena recently visited KISS 108 where she shared that she is single. When asked if she was “completely available,” Selena responded a quick “Yup.” So what about that visit with Justin Bieber overseas last month and that picture? Do you believe Jelena is really over?

Demi Lovato Rocks Wango Tango and 93.3′s Summer Kickoff Concert (Video)

On Friday, Demi performed at 93.3′s summer kickoff concert in San Diego where she performed her hits “Heart Attack,” “Skyscraper” and “Give Your Heart A Break.” She also sang her new single “Made in the USA” and covered David Guetta’s “Titanium.”

On Saturday, she joined acts like Maroon5, Bruno Mars, Icona Pop and more at KIIS Fm’s Wango Tango in Carson City, CA where she performed the same set mins “Titanium.”

The “Sam & Cat” star performed her hit “The Way” as well as her cover of “I Believe In You & Me” by Whitney Houston. We definitely cannot wait for more music from Ariana.

After the show, Ariana tweeted, “Got to sing at #wangotango today. Thank you so much 102.7KIISFM for the opportunity & for playing my song.”

In “See Dad See Through Grandman,” David’s (Scott Baio) special Mother’s Day plans for Amy get derailed when his self-centered mom shows up. Michelle Lee guest stars as David’s mom and we had the chance to chat with Ryan Newman, who plays Emily, all about the episode and even her upcoming guest spot on “Big Time Rush.”

What was your favorite memory from filming the episode airing this weekend? Working with Michelle Lee was incredible! She is so sweet and talented. I was so honored to work with such an accomplished actress.

We love that it’s a mother’s day episode on mother’s day! What is the best advice your mom has ever given you? My mom has always told me since I was a little girl how important it is to give back and to help other people. That has always stuck with me. It is so important to me to spread awareness about causes that I believe in and to help others through being in the industry that I am in. I love being able to make a child in a hospital smile and forget about their problems for a few minutes. That is really the best feeling in the world and it was my amazing mom who introduced me to that.

What is your favorite thing about working with your TV mom Alanna Ubach? Alanna is really fantastic! She is insanely funny and kind. She acts like my best friend or my sister. There’s nothing I don’t love about working with her!

Rebel Wilson Set to Bring Her Hilariousness to the Small Screen!

ABC announced which shows would not be returning (“Happy Endings,” “Red Widow”) and which shows would be returning (“Nashville,” “Scandal,” “Modern Family,” “Suburgatory,” “Revenge”) for fall seasons. In addition, the network announced some of their new shows and there is one we are really excited for – “Super Fun Night.”

Rebel headlines the new comedy which also stars Kelen Coleman, Lauren Ash, Liza Lapira, and Kevin Bishop. We also know that Ashley Tisdale filmed a part for the pilot. The show revolves around three nerdy female friends on a “funcomfortable” quest to have “super fun” every Friday night.

Ansel Elgort Offered Role of Gus in ‘The Fault in Our Stars’

It looks like the 19-year-old is set to go from playing Shailene Woodley’s brother to playing her lover!

According to Entertainment Weekly, Ansel has been offered the coveted role of Augustus “Gus” Waters in the film adaptation of John Gren’s bestseller The Fault In Our Stars. Shailene Woodley plays the female lead Hazel.

“Ansel is whip-smart and uber-charismatic and everything I dreamed for Augustus Waters,” John Green tells EW in an exclusive statement. “I am by nature a cautious pessimist, but I’ll just say it: Now that we have Shailene and Ansel, I am completely, unreservedly psyched about this movie.”

Director Josh Boone tells EW: “Ansel Elgort is the epitome of the boy John Green brought to life so vividly in his novel and he truly embodies the character traits we admire so much about Gus. His humor, sensitivity, honesty and confidence floored us. Watching him with Shailene was like seeing the film for the first time. Hearing then say okay to each other was incredibly moving. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have found our Gus.”

Ansel can be seen next in the remake of Carrie this fall and currently filming Divergent where he plays Caleb Prior, Tris’ (Woodley) brother. Says The Fault in Our Stars producer Wyck Godfrey: ”We were all swept away by the humor, charm, and aching vulnerability Ansel brought to his portrayal of Gus. His performance completely annihilated our concerns about his playing Caleb in Divergent with Shailene, and we are confident that the fans of Fault will fall in love with him the same way that Hazel does–slowly, and then all at once.”

The Fault in Our Stars follows the beautiful and tragic story of Hazel and Gus, two teens who meet in a cancer support group.
