Night Of Stars Premieres February 16: Jonas, Mitchel, Dadnapped and More!

-February 16th will be a Night Of Stars on Disney Channel. Starting at 7pm EST, you’ll see the premiere of the Jonas Brothers music video for “BB Good” from “Jonas Brothers-The 3D Concert Experience” movie. The music video will be featured at approximately 8:20 p.m., ET/PT. The 3D concert movie will be in theatres Friday, February 27 from Walt Disney Studios.

Also making its long awaited debut is the music video from Miley Cyrus‘ inspirational ballad, “The Climb,” directed by acclaimed photographer and music video director Matthew Rolston. The song is from Walt Disney Pictures’ upcoming motion picture, “Hannah Montana The Movie,” releasing in theatres April 10. It and another music video from a song featured in the movie, “HoeDown ThrowDown,” debut between 7:00-9:40 p.m., ET/PT.

The evening is anchored by the premiere of “Dadnapped” (8:00-9:40 p.m., ET/PT), a Disney Channel Original Movie headlined by some of the network’s most popular series stars. They are: Emily Osment (“Hannah Montana”), David Henrie (“Wizards of Waverly Place”), Jason Earles (“Hannah Montana”), Moises Arias (“Hannah Montana”) and Phill Lewis (“The Suite Life on Deck”). The cast will host the “Night of Stars” telecast on Disney Channel.

A music video for “3Rs,” featuring “Hannah Montana” star and Walt Disney Records recording artist Mitchel Musso from the “School House Rock” DVD, will air at approximately 8:24 p.m., ET/PT.

New episodes of the hit comedies “Wizards of Waverly Place” (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) and “Hannah Montana” (7:30 p.m., ET/PT), guest starring Rob Reiner, will round out the night.

“Night of Stars” will be simulcast on mobile via Sprint TV and MobiTV. New episodes of “Wizards of Waverly Place” and “Hannah Montana” will be available one day after the television premiere on iTunes, Xbox, Netflix and on Mobile Video-On-Demand via Sprint TV and AT&T CV. In addition, viewers can log onto www.DisneyChannel.com for a chance to unlock an exclusive “Dadnapped” game.

Sonny With A Chance to Premiere Feb 8

-The premiere is almost here! Disney Channel’s newest original series, “Sonny With A Chance,” is set to premiere on February 8th. Celebrating the premiere of the show, the Official Website will be relaunched with more games, quizzes and video content. On its premiere night, “Sonny With A Chance” will be preceded by encore presentations of the blockbuster Disney Channel Original Movies “Camp Rock,” “High School Musical” and “High School Musical 2,” with hosted segments by Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, among others. The segments were videotaped from 2006 though summer 2008.

• Launch of Disney’s TweenWeekly.com, an online version of the fictional tween magazine, featuring stories about the “So Random!” cast, and SoRandom.com, the “official” website for the fictional tween sketch comedy show, that will feature profiles and video content.

Sunday, February 8

• “Camp Rock” (6:00 p.m., ET/PT) telecast featuring interstitial segments filmed in 2008 with Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Alyson Stoner, Meaghan Jette Martin and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle.

• “Sonny With A Chance” (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) premieres on Disney Channel with simulcast on Sprint TV and MobiTV. In the episode entitled “Sketchy Beginnings,” Sonny Munroe arrives in Los Angeles, anxious to meet her new cast mates on her favorite sketch comedy show “So Random!” After a rocky welcome from Tawni, Sonny tries to impress the cast with her ideas to improve a sketch.

• Second episode of “Sonny With A Chance” (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) is presented on Disney Channel with simulcast on Sprint TV and MobiTV. In the episode entitled “West Coast Story,” Sonny meets Chad Dylan Cooper (of the drama series “MacKenzie Falls”) in the cafeteria and learns of the simmering rivalry between the two casts. When tensions arise, Sonny attempts to make a peace offering.

In the movie, Jake and Emma star as Bruce and Andi, who take a vacant house and turn it into a hotel for dogs. Kudrow stars as their foster mother. The movie is now playing in theaters.

Demi Honored & Jonas Bros Thrilled for Inauguration Party

-Demi Lovato is very honored to have been asked to play at the Kids’ Inaugural: We Are The Future concert on January 19th. The Jonas Brothers are also thrilled. They talked to the press about it today, as well as about their shows, at the TCA Press Tour in LA.

“We couldn’t have been more thrilled than to have been asked,” says Nick. “I’ve always always talked about a future in the White House one day. It really is an honor. What we’re doing is it’s all for the children and families of the military.”

“It’s a huge honor to be a part of this especially because it’s not any just any other president. It’s an amazing opportunity,” said Lovato, 16, adding that she would be performing “Get Back” and “La La Land” from her album. “[I am] ridiculously nervous to the point where I don’t know what I’ll do with myself,” she says. “I really hope I don’t fall.”

The Jonas Brothers plan to play “Burnin’ Up,” ‘We know that Sasha and Malia are fans of ‘Burnin’ Up,’ said Nick.

Get ready to watch The Kids’ Inaugural: We Are the Future concert on the Disney Channel on Monday, Jan. 19 beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
