Cody Linley: My very first acting
job as when I was almost 9 years old. It was a film called "Still Holding
On" It wasn't a very big role but I was very thankful.
SO-M: How did you get into acting?
CL: I first got into acting by
my brother Chad. Once he started I wanted to follow in his footsteps.
SO-M: What was it like working
on "Hoot"?
CL: It was amazing! I made a
lot of best friends on the set!
SO-M: Was it hard running around
barefoot all the time?
CL: At first it was hard. I had
to practice a lot.
SO-M: Did you ever think you'd
get such a huge positive fan response from guest starring on "Hannah Montana"?
CL: Wow. Wow. Wow. I had no idea
how powerful Disney Channel is.
SO-M: What was the best part about
working on "Hannah Montana"?
CL: Probably the cast. They all
are really fun people.
SO-M: Will you be returning to
the show anytime in the future?
CL: Yes! You will be seeing a
lot more Jake Ryan!
SO-M: You just filmed a new movie
with Emily Osment, what can you tell us about that?
CL: It was really fun working
with Emily Osment again. I had a lot of fun.
SO-M: Which is harder, working
on a TV show or filming a movie?
CL: A movie. Because it is a lot
longer and everything has to be PERFECT.
SO-M: Do you play any musical instruments?
CL: Yes, electric and acoustic
guitar.
SO-M: Have you ever thought about
branching out into singing like many of the young stars are doing?
CL: Haha, not anytime soon. [Note
from SO-M: Cody in fact does have a music myspace now @ www.myspace.com/codylinleymusic]
SO-M: Are your friends that aren't
in the business supportive?
CL: They are very supportive
of what I do. At the end of the day I know who my true friends are.
SO-M: What's the hardest part
about being in show business?
CL: Rumors. I try not to care
but they just get ridiculous.
SO-M: What's the best part?

job.

CL: Basketball, playing my guitar,
hanging out with friends, music, and lot of more stuff.
SO-M: Who are your role models/inspirations?
CL: Tom Hanks! He's the man!
SO-M: What advice would you give
someone who is interested in being an actor?
CL: A lot of people will turn
you down. Be ready and don't mind what other people say. Because if you try
hard enough you will get to where you want to be.
