Zac Efron gives a wink and a salute to the crowd at the premiere of his movie, At Any Price, at the 69th Venice Film Festival on Friday.

Zac suited up for the photocall and premiere for the movie that also stars Dennis Quaid. How cute are the pics of Zac and his co-star Maika Monroe? The movie stars Quaid and Efron as a father and son who operate a farming empire, though Efron’s character really wants to become a professional race car driver.

Next up for Zefron – The Toronto Film Festival with The Paperboy and he next appears in Liberal Arts. Zac has also just booked a new role!

THR reports that Zac will star in the comedy Are We Officially Dating?. The movie revolves around three friends in New York City who make a pact to remain single just as each starts to fall in love. Production is scheduled to begin in November in New York.

Set in the competitive world of modern agriculture, ambitious Henry Whipple (Dennis Quaid) wants his rebellious son Dean (Zac Efron) to help expand his family’s farming empire. However, Dean has his sights set on becoming a professional race car driver. When a high- stakes investigation into their business is exposed, father and son are pushed into an unexpected situation that threatens the family’s entire livelihood.

There is no official release date for the movie yet, but it will be part of the Toronto Film Festival.

Zac Efron and Jason Bateman in the same movie? Yes please!

Deadline is reporting that Zac and Jason, as well as Goldie Hawn and Leslie Mann are in talks to headline Warner Bros’ ensemble movie This Is Where I Leave You.

The movie would reunite Zac with his Hairspray director Adam Shankman in the adaptation of the Jonathan Tropper comic novel about four siblings who come home to sit ‘shiva’ for their deceased father. They are trapped in the house for seven days, and all the skeletons are bared.

Jason, Zac, and his 17 Again love interest Leslie Man would play 3 of the siblings like Goldie Hawn would play the family’s mother. Production is set to start in early September.

We have to say, if all the actors sign on, that’s one funny family!

Zac Efron gives a smolder at the premiere of The Paperboy at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, Zac and the cast attended the official photocall for the movie. The movie is set in Florida in 1969 amid racial strife. Zac stars as 20-year-old Jack, the younger brother of a journalist (played by Matthew McConaughey) who has come back to his family’s small town to investigate whether a man was wrongly condemned to death row and Nicole Kidman’s character is fixated on the inmate.

Co-star Macy Gray spilled some of what we can expect to see from Zac in the movie. “He was in his underwear half the time,” said Macy Gray, who plays a maid and narrates the movie.

Zac also said at the press conference, “As much as I love everything I’ve done, this is a new frontier for me. It’s incredibly fulfilling. It’s a dream. Hopefully, I can keep doing things like this.”

He continued about showing some skin, “I don’t think I was supposed to feel comfortable. It’s like life. This character is supposed to be learning the ways of the world, and that can be very uncomfortable. But it’s also exciting.”

Nicole Kidman sure is a lucky lady!

The actress was joined by her good looking co-stars Zac Efron and Matthew McConaughey at the official photocall for their new movie The Paperboy at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday.

Zac looked very handsome in a gray suit and takes on what looks to be one of his most mature and challenging roles yet. Read a review of the film here.
