Emma Stone Talks Ryan Gosling, Taylor Swift and More in ‘Interview’ Magazine

Emma Stone goes futuristic in her new spread for Interview magazine.

In the mag, Emma sat down for a chat with one of her inspirations, director Cameron Crowe, to talk about everything from Ryan Gosling to Taylor Swift to not seeing her breakout hit Easy A.

On friend Taylor Swift & acting vs. singing: Taylor is a musician who does things under her own name and tells her own stories—her songs and her albums are her. Whereas I’m playing characters, so that kind of authenticity of self in this job is a little bit different. A lot of times I feel like people come up to me because they think I’m like my character in Easy A, or because they’ve seen me in interviews, but really what they’re a fan of is a movie or a character.

On opening up more to the public: I don’t think that I’ve been deft at hiding parts of my personality. I have not mentioned parts of my life, for sure—although I have talked about my childhood more now and anxiety and that side of myself. I don’t think that people would expect that I would have panic attacks . . . Or I don’t know if they would, because I don’t know what people expect of me. I have no idea.

On not seeing Easy A: Oh, god, I was a wreck during that. I didn’t sleep much. I remember the day I wrapped Easy A. Getting into the car as the sun was coming up because it had been a night shoot . . . It felt like a house had been lifted off of me. I felt a great deal of pressure making that movie, because in my personal life at the time, too, things were just . . . It was like a hurricane. I’ve still never seen it.

On working with Ryan Gosling: Most of those things [in Crazy, Stupid, Love] are true—like, I actually won the spelling bee when I was 8 and my dad cried, and I do a Lauren Bacall impression. Ryan really has bought most of those things from infomercials. So we were just laughing at each other and talking. The directors just gave us a day to hang out.

I just really like hearing his viewpoint because I know that it’s never going to be tainted. He’s very much his own person. It has really just been scripts so far, because I only met him two years ago when we did ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love,’ but it was like meeting a member of your team or something. I really like his brain.

It has been one crazy week for Taylor Swift!

The 22-year-old released her newest single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” and it immediately shot to #1 on the iTunes charts. That’s not it, though! The song was already among the 40 most-played tunes on U.S. radio just two days after being released. It is also on track to sell 450,000 to 500,000 downloads by the end of the week.

Taylor also just released her new print ad for her fragrance, Wonderstruck Enchanted. Check out that gown!

To celebrate, it looks like Taylor is enjoying her time with boyfriend Conor Kennedy. Taylor and the 18-year-old son of Robert Kennedy, Jr were spotted smooching yesterday in MA. Later in the day, the couple were spotted enjoying some beach time. So cute.

Taylor Swift: “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” Lyric Video!

If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably been listening to Taylor Swift’s new single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” on repeat since it was released last night.

You might know all the words by now, but if not, check out the official lyric video for the song!

Taylor is already setting up interviews and performances surrounding the October 22 release of her new album Red. The 22-year-old will be interviewed on “Good Morning America” on Monday, October 22nd and Performing LIVE on Tuesday, October 23rd.

Taylor wrote her catchy new single with one of our favorite song-writers Max Martin and Johan Shellback. Taylor told ABC News, the idea for the song came when she was in the studio and her friend’s ex walked in.

“He starts talking about how he’s heard we were getting back together and that was not the case,” Swift said. ”When he leaves, Max and Johan are like, ‘so what’s the story behind that?’ And so I start telling them the story of break up, get back together, break up, get back together, just, ugh, the worst.”
“Max says, ‘this is what we’re writing. We’re writing this song,’ and I picked up the guitar and just started singing, ‘we are never–’” she continued. “It just happened so fast. It was so much fun.”

In other TSwift news, it looks like things are getting more serious with her new boyfriend Conor Kennedy. The two were spotted in Nashville last week having dinner with her parents and were spotted again in MA over the weekend. According to reports, Taylor has also bought a house in Hyannis, MA across the street from Connor. She bought the house last week and paid a reported $4.9 million for the 13-room home overlooking Nantucket Sound. The house was originally listed at $14 million and had been on the market for two to four years.

Taylor Swift’s New Album ‘Red’ to Be Released October 22

Taylor Swift held a live chat today where she revealed a ton of big news.

Taylor shared her brand new album cover and revealed that the record will be titled Red and in stores October 22. Taylor revealed, “When I was coming up with the name, it was crazy because it was really simple. I wrote a song called “Red” and thinking about what that means to me and all the different emotions that are written about on this album – they’re all pretty much about the tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships that I’ve experienced in the last two years. All those emotions spanning from intense love, intense frustration, jealousy, confusion, all of that. In my mind, all those emotions are red. There’s nothing in between. There’s nothing beige about any of those feelings.”

There will be 16 songs (many co-writes this time around) on the album and that doesn’t include bonus tracks. Score for TSwift fans! A lot of the songs are about things Taylor has been through or things people close to her have experienced.

Taylor had even more great news to share during her chat. Her first single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” will be released TODAY on iTunes. That’s right, finally a brand new TSwift single for our ears. So who exactly is Taylor not getting back together with? According to the lyrics, it’s a musician who put out an indie record. Hmmm…
