-Taylor Swift gives a smile with Betty White & Martha Stewart at the TIME 100 Gala.

Taylor also snapped pics with Bill Clinton & Neil Patrick Harris. She performed a few songs as well.

At the gala, Taylor shared with ET: “It was amazing to read the article that was written about me. Stevie Nicks is absolutely my hero, so for her to have written such wonderful, glowing things, honestly I got kind of emotional reading it.”

Taylor is also sending out prayers for Nasvhille. She tweeted: Please keep Nashville in your heart. Seeing a picture of the Grande Ole Opry halfway underwater was a kind of heartbreak I can’t describe.

-Taylor Swift looked gorgeous in Ralph Lauren at the 2010 Costume Institute Gala Benefit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday evening.

Taylor talked with E! at the event about how she stays grounded: “I live in Nashville, so I think that has a lot to do with it. Thankfully I don’t have paparazzi following me everywhere and I’m just able to have a normal life.”

She also shared her beauty secret: “I just moisturize. I don’t really have any routine or anything.”

-The Summer Set was one of the many bands to play Hoodwink on Friday evening in New Jersey.

Hoodwink precedes the popular The Bamboozle Festival, which took place yesterday and today. At the event, bands cover songs by other artists, generally not in their genre. Other acts that participated included The Maine, Andrew McMahon, Motion City Soundtrack & Say Anything.

The Summer Set chose to play the songs of country sweetheart Taylor Swift. They have been covering “Love Story” for a while in their set, but this time around they also played songs like “Forever & Always,” “I’m Only Me When I’m With You” and more.

-First Sony, now Covergirl!

According to People, Taylor has been named the latest spokesperson for Covergirl.

She’s joining the ranks of A-listers like Drew Barrymore, Rihanna, Queen Latifah and Ellen DeGeneres in representing the brand. Taylor’s ads for a new line of luxury cosmetics won’t debut until January, but check out an exclusive pic from the shoot at people.com.

Also, if you’ve been following the Hug From Taylor Swift story, on Monday, Taylor flew to Auburn University to surprise the guys while they did her challenge of having the biggest karoake sing-a-long to “You Belong With Me.” The guys got their hugs and Taylor even performed a few songs. Taylor has teamed up with Sony to promote the TX7 Cyber-shot Camera. We all know that Taylor loves to capture every minute of being on tour and just her daily life. We love her vlogs!

The commercials will be airing nationwide starting April 26. The commercial for Sony Electronics’ TX7 Cyber-Shot Camera features Taylor testing out the device’s iSweep Panorama mode to capture all of her fans at one of her concerts.

-Taylor Swift gets in a little basketball in her new vlog.

The vlog shows Taylor making a birthday cake for her brother’s 18th birthday, an easter egg hunt, bowling with Selena Gomez & Allstar Weekend, and her friend/co-writer Liz Rose’s wedding.

-Miranda Cosgrove introduced Taylor Swift last night at Brooks & Dunn’s The Last Rodeo Show in Las Vegas.

The “iCarly” star was so excited, she tweeted: Just introduced @taylorswift13 at a tribute to Brooks and Dunn! She’s sooo sweet and her performance rocked!

Taylor joined other stars like Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Nettles and more for Brooks & Dunn’s special. The group is retiring after 20 years together. The previous night, Taylor also performed her song, “Change,” at the 45th Annual ACM Awards with the Tritones. Taylor unfortunately was shut out of winning any awards though. Big winners included Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, & Lady Antebellum.

ACM Presents: Brooks and Dunn – The Last Rodeo,” will air Sunday, May 23 on CBS.

-Katy Perry joined pal Taylor Swift onstage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last night.

The duo performed Katy’s hit song, “Hot N Cold.” After the show, Taylor tweeted: Surprise guest at Staples Center: @katyperry!! We sang Hot N Cold and jumped up and down a lot. Katy! LA! I will always love you!

Perez Hilton, Meaghan Martin and others also checked out T-Swift’s concert.

Taylor also chatted with ET about her tour, music and her new Sony commercial. She shared, “I’ve always been about telling a great story and whether that happens with music or whether that happens on screen, that’s always something that I’m going to jump at the opportunity to do.”

She is up against Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban & the Zac Brown Band. You still have time to cast your vote for your favorite. -The first round of nominees for the 2010 CMT Awards were announced this morning.

Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum and Sugarland each scored four nominations. Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band all picked up three.

First-round fan voting is now underway, which narrows each category to four finalists. You can vote NOW at CMT.com. On May 11, the finalists in each category will be announced. During this second round, fans vote for the winners in every category except for video of the year. Voting for that top honor begins when the 2010 CMT Music Awards show hits TV on June 9 at 8 p.m. ET.

-Taylor Swift & Selena Gomez enjoyed a night of bowling with friends at Pinz in Studio City on Tuesday night.

Joining the bff’s were Cory Monteith, David Henrie, Cameron Quiseng (Allstar Weekend) and other friends. It looks like the group had a good time. Taylor & Cory were even spotted hugging. Check out a full gallery of pics over at JustJared.

Taylor is in the middle of her “Fearless Tour,” but has some time off until March 26 when she plays in Detroit. Selena and the cast of “Wizards of Waverly Place” just finished filming the last episode for season 3. Selena is then off to film a new movie called Monte Carlo.

Cory is busy working on new episodes of “Glee,” which return next month and Cameron and his bandmates are busy working on their debut album and touring on the Verizon Experience the Magic & Emily Osment’s Clap Your Hands Tour.

-Three Auburn University students have officially been challenged by none other than Taylor Swift.

Michael Wekall, Ryan Leander and Matthew Mahaffey created a website called ahugfromtaylorswift.com. They came up with the idea to film a documentary about their journey to get a hug from Taylor Swift. They have created some pretty funny video blogs showing their journey.

Well, the guys are in luck. Taylor has seen the site and uploaded a video to her website earlier this week sending the guys her first challenge in what will probably be a series of challenges.

What is her first challenge? She wants them to help a little old lady across the street! We can’t wait to see what the guys’ response video is. Be sure to check out ahugfromtaylorswift.com.
