-What would you do if you got to play onstage with your favorite musician? For 11-year-old Austin Christy, he got that chance on Sunday in Philadelphia.

Austin was front row with his family at John Mayer’s concert and he held up a homemade sign that said, “Can I play ‘Belief’ with you?” according to the Courier-Post. John took notice and invited Austin to play lead guitar during the song. Austin got to play John’s red Squier guitar and got to keep the guitar and the picks afterwards.

John even autographed the guitar saying, “To Austin, You rock. Keep playing. See you at your show” along with the place and date.

The new version stars Jaden Smith (Will Smith’s son) as “Dre Parker,” a boy who’s mom (Taraji P. Henson) ends up getting a job in China. The new career uproots the family and makes things hard for Dre as he tries to fit in at a new school and in a new culture. He catches the eye of classmate Mei Ying but also ends up in the way of bully Cheng. Dre ends up being taken under the wing of maintenance man Mr. Han (Jackie Chan). In the spirit of the original, Mr. Han teaches Dre the skill and discipline of karate.

-Taylor Lautner is attached to star in Abduction. The movie is focused on a young man who discovers his own baby picture on a missing persons website.

-The cast of “Glee” is heading to the White House! According to EW.com, the cast will perform at the White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday, April 5.

-The second season of “Sonny With A Chance” is set to premiere on Disney Channel on March 14 at 8pm EST. In the premiere episode, entitled “Walk A Mile In My Pants,” Sonny rallies everyone together for a “Walk-A-Thon For Books” and gets Tawni to donate her ‘Tawni Hart’s Extreme Skinny Jeans’ for all of the participants to wear. When Chad finds out, he follows suit and organizes a “Walk-A-Thon Against Books” with participants also wearing Tawni’s pants. Eventually everyone starts dropping like flies as a result of SPS (Skinny Pants Syndrome).

Yesterday, a friend of ours showed us a version of the song performed by 57 various singers & groups from youtube. We have to say…we were blown away! If you’re looking for new talent, look no further than this video.

The collaboration was organized and put together by Lisa Lavie and received over 100,000 views in just 24 hours. The song is definitely worth a listen. You may even discover a new favorite singer. The cool thing about the video is if you hover over it, you’ll be able to see who is singing and click to go to their own profile.

-Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle stepped out for the Grammys Salute to Icons Honoring Doug Morris at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday evening. This is the couple’s first public event appearance together since their wedding (not counting paparazzi).

On the red carpet, Kevin caught up with Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas. The couple then snapped a pic with the group before heading inside. Kevin will be joining his brothers, Joe & Nick, on stage tonight presenting at the Grammys. Kevin and Danielle were spotted Friday at Garden State Plaza shopping before heading to Los Angeles for Nick’s concert that night.
