Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev Call It Quits

“The Vampire Diaries” stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have parted ways according to Us Weekly. A source told the magazine exclusively that the couple of over three years are “consummate professionals” and “will continue to work together and remain best friends, which is where the relationship started.”

Nina opened up about her relationship with Ian last Fall in Seventeen saying, “I didn’t want to be dating one of my costars – my goal on the show was to be professional, but sometimes you can’t help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long – which I did for a really, really long time.”

Filming for season 5 of “The Vampire Diaries” will begin later this year. Are you sad that Nina and Ian have split?

For the young ladies of Hollywood, it looks like black is the big trend for the ‘PUNK: Chaos to Couture’ exhibition. Taylor Swift looked fabulous in a black and gold J Mendel dress while Miley Cyrus went with the punk theme with super spiky hair and a Marc Jacobs dress mesh dress. Before the gala, Miley tweeted, “We gonnnna kill it @MarcJacobsIntl #PuNk #whosmorepunkthan #MJ #MC #MetGala.”

Nina Dobrev also glammed up the carpet in a black number by Monique Lhuillier which has both pants and a lacy skirt! We love the combo.

Jennifer Lawrence also looked glamourous in a black number by Dior complete with a veil and Emma Watson chose a black dress by Prabal Gurung.

Kristen Stewart decided to be a little different and rock a red pants outfit by Stella McCartney.

Selena Gomez and Nina Dobrev: Lakers vs Kings Game

Selena cheered the Lakers on to a victory of 113 to 102. She wasn’t the only celebrity spotted at the game. Nina Dobrev enjoyed a night out with newly single Julianne Hough as well as Kaley Cuoco and her sister Bri.

It was a big weekend for Selena. “The Wizards Return: Alex vs Alex” brought in 5.9 million viewers while her new movie Spring Breakers opened to $270,000 in just three theaters for a $90,000 per screen average.

The center hosted the 21st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party and brought out stars like Miley Cyrus, Debby Ryan, Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Kat Graham, Jacob Artist, Colton Haynes and more.

Miley looked beautiful in a white floor length dress and she brought her mom Tish as her date. The 20-year-old had a great time inside the party where she ran into pals like Kelly Osbourne, Elton John, Kim Kardashian and more.

We have to give a shoutout to Debby Ryan as well who looked stunning in a dress by Lisa Ho. Watch her adorable video message to nominee Quvenzhané Wallis. So cute!

Pre-Oscar events were held all over town and Taylor Lautner and Liam Hemsworth were spotted at the Grey Goose Pre-Oscar Party at the Chateau Marmont.

Meanwhile, Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence attended the Weinstein Company Academy Award Party hosted by Chopard at Soho House. Also spotted at the party were Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Chace Crawford, and Paul Wesley.

Lily Collins and Chloe Moretz also stepped out for the evening at the Chanel Pre-Oscar dinner at Madeo Restaurant.

Don’t forget that the Oscars take place tonight on ABC at 5:30pm PST/8:30pm EST. Who are you rooting for?

This year’s major category winners were Silver Linings Playbook, which won Best Feature, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Female Lead and The Sessions, which won Best Supporting Female and Best Male Lead.

We were so excited that The Perks of Being A Wallflower won Best First Feature. Nina Dobrev was on hand to cheer on writer & director Stephen Chbosky.

‘Silver Linings Playbook’ and ‘Argo’ Win Big at Critics’ Choice Awards – Full List of Winners!

criticschoice-winners-011013 It was a big night for Jennifer Lawrence at the 18th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday.

The 22-year-old took home trophies for Best Comedic Actress (Silver Linings Playbook) and Best Actress in an Action Movie (The Hunger Games). In addition, Silver Linings Playbook was named Best Comedy and Best Acting Ensemble.

Despite being snubbed by the Oscar nominations this morning, Ben Affleck was named the Critics’ Choice for Best Director and Argo took home the trophy for Best Movie.

Anne Hathaway was presented Best Supporting Actress by Les Miserables co-star Eddie Redmayne and the hilarious Rebel Wilson presented Judd Apatow with the Louis XIII Genius Award.

Stars like Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Cory Monteith, Nina Dobrev, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and more helped present the awards.

The two stars attended the 18th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards in Santa Monica on Thursday and they both looked beautiful. Nina was on hand to present with Henry Cavill while Elle is nominated for Best Young Actress for Ginger & Rosa.

Also attending the show was Amanda Seyfried, Quvenzhané Wallis, Tom Holland, and Emmy Rossum.
