Josh Hutcherson: “I’m Definitely Going to Go” to Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus’ Wedding

Josh Hutcherson is gearing up to head to Atlanta in a few weeks to film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, but before that, the 19-year-old chatted with Ryan Seacrest about training for the movie and his co-star Liam Hemsworth’s upcoming wedding.

“I’m definitely going to go,” Josh said of Liam’s impending wedding to Miley Cyrus. “I’m for sure gonna go. Liam’s my boy! I’m definitely going to be there to support him. I haven’t been invited, so I have to get the invite first to know if I’m going. I’ve got to make sure I’m invited. I say I’m going, but I don’t know, maybe Liam has other plans for that.”

Josh had to gain some muscle for his portrayal of Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games, and Josh is already back training for the sequel. “I’ve been training for about the last month or so now and I head out in about two weeks to go down to Atlanta to start shooting,” he said. “It’s not quite intense as the first round that I did last year, but it’s just basically getting in good shape. We’re pretty much wearing these body suits the entire time, so one would like be in good shape to wear a spandex neoprene body suit for an entire movie.”

If you want a chance to meet Josh before he heads off to Atlanta, he has joined forces with AEG, Entertainment League Productions for the first annual Josh Hutcherson Celebrity Charity Basketball Game benefiting the Straight But Not Narrow Initiative during the Nike Basketball 3 ON 3 Tournament.

Josh will take the court with a collection of celebrity friends to create a family-friendly, highly entertaining basketball event with the objective to raise funds and awareness for the Straight but not Narrow initiative.

The charity game will take place 6:30PM-8:30PM on August 3rd at Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE. Tickets (some including meet & greet) are still available! Purchase them here.

Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Rover’ Given the Greenlight

Robert Pattinson received some good news yesterday, in between all the drama surrounding girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that The Rover has received production financing from Screen Australia and been given the greenlight.

The movie also stars Guy Pearce and is set in the Australian desert. It is a futuristic western that tells the story of Eric, who has left everything, everyone and every semblance of human kindness behind him, as he’s forced to join an injured gang member, Rey, to hunt down Rey’s gang after they steal the last of Eric’s possessions.

Sounds like Robert has some interesting roles coming up. What do you think?
