Lollipop Theater Network is a non-profitorganization dedicated to bringing the magic of movies currently in theaters to children confined to hospitals nationwide due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses. It’s goal is to create a fun escape from the daily reality of the illnesses these children face and to offer them and their families a moment of normalcy in an otherwise stressful environment.

Many of the kids had the chance to attend the event and hang out with their favorite celebrities. The event was also sponsored by by Hasbro and included life-size versions of games like Connect Four, Candyland and Twister.

Stars that attended included Meaghan Martin, Jennifer Stone, Monique Coleman, Taylor Spreitler, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Logan Miller, Savannah Outen, Josh Golden, Savvy and Mandy, Madison Pettis, Bradley Steven Perry, & many more.

We’ll be bringing you interviews from the event all week. No More ’10 Things’ for ABC Family

-We’re sad! One of our favorite shows, “10 Things I Hate About You,” will not be returning for a second season.

Producer & writer Carter Covington tweeted this morning: Sad news… ABCFamily canceled the show :-( Thanks 2 our AMAZING fans – U R the reason I do this! Enjoy the last 5 eps – they’re fantastic!

A rep for the show confirmed the sad news to Zap2it as well. We’re totally bummed for the cast and crew. This show was witty, original and just all around enjoyable.

Don’t worry though. There are still 5 new episodes left, so be sure to watch on Monday nights at 8pm EST. Sadly, the show will end without the proper closure for the characters. We’ve had some great times interviewing the cast of the show and visiting the set. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for someone to save the show.

Kyle Kaplan, who played Cameron’s bff Michael on the show tweeted: Sad to see #10 things go. Had so much fun with everyone on the cast. Enjoy the last 5 eps!

David Henrie, Devon Werkheiser & More Team Up for LA’s Best

-Earlier this month, we were invited to check out the 2nd Annual Instructional Improv Class at Bang Comedy Theater. We had the privilege of attending the first improv workshop last November.

The event is a collaboration between LA’s Best & Bang Comedy. David Henrie and Peter Murietta teamed up with Devon Werkheiser, Meaghan Martin & Ashley Argota this time around.

Students from LA’s BEST, a nationally recognized after school education, enrichment and recreation program, had the opportunity to get firsthand experience from the actors and took part in improvisational skits, games and routines.

The kids had the chance to participate in the exercises with the stars and then they had the chance to ask them questions about their jobs. To learn more about LA’s Best, visit lasbest.org.

Check out what makes Meaghan, David & Devon laugh the most, as well as videos & exclusive pics of the actors doing exercises with the kids. Stay tuned for more interviews soon.

Meaghan Martin’s Music Epiphany

-Meaghan Martin doesn’t plan to release an album any time soon, but she would love to move to NYC and pursue musical theater.

Popstar! caught up with Meaghan on the set of “10 Things I Hate About You.” Meaghan said “possibly” when she was asked if she’d be releasing more music soon. She went on to say, “I had a moment this summer, where I had my epiphany. I was getting overwhelmed. I was trying to do the music thing and the acting thing. I took a moment and was like hey, which one is more important. Ultimately it was acting…I was down at the 13th Promenade and I saw a woman playing guitar and singing and she was absolutely incredible. I was kinda like I will never be as good as she is…There was something in me that didn’t feel right. If I don’t have the same passion for it as she does, I don’t want to do it. I think music wise, I’m mostly going to pursue musical theater.” FYI, Meaghan grew up doing musical theater.

Also below, check out Meaghan talking about “Camp Rock 2″ and inside is footage from Inspire’s visit to the set.

Be sure to catch a new episode of “10 Things I Hate About You” tonight on ABC Family!
