Disney Stars Celebrate “May the Fourth Be With You” Day with Children’s Hospital LA

To celebrate the Star Wars inspired day, all your favorite Disney Channel and Disney XD stars, Star Wars characters, and even Mickey & Minnie Mouse paid a visit to Children’s Hospital L.A.

Billy Unger, Spencer Boldman, Karan Brar, Skai Jackson, Blake Michael, Kelli Berglund, Aedin Mincks, Sierra McCormick, Francesca Capaldi, Tyrel Jackson Williams, Roshon Fegan, Adam Irigoyen, Stefanie Scott, and Jake Short all signed autographs for the kids and it looks like they had some fun with lightsabers too.

We have a feeling this is a day the kids at Children’s Hospital LA won’t forget for a long time.

Billy Unger and Tyrel Jackson Williams: “Robot Fight Club” Tonight on “Lab Rats”

labrats-robots-032513It’s a battle of wit and robots on tonight’s all new episode of “Lab Rats”!

In “Robot Fight Club,” Chase (Billy Unger) and Leo (Tyrel Jackson Williams) enter a local “create-your-own battle bot” competition where they hope to defeat the returning champion. Davenport asks to give some input, but ends up taking over the entire robot build. When Chase and Leo kick him off the team, Davenport becomes determined to win on his own.

Be sure to catch the episode TONIGHT at 9pm on Disney XD.

“Lab Rats” Returns for an Action Packed Season 2 Starting February 25

labrats-season2-012813The “Lab Rats” are back and they’ve gotten a super sweet makeover!

Season 2 of Disney XD’s hit show “Lab Rats” returns on February 25 at 9pm and the Rats will be showing off some sweet upgraded super suits. We love the new sleek look.

The sophomore season will include a guest appearance by Madison Pettis (“Jake and the Never Land Pirates”) and will follow Leo and his siblings, teen super-humans – Adam, Bree and Chase – as they embark on critical missions with high stakes while learning more about each other and navigating everyday teenage life.

In the season premiere, “Speed Trapped,” Adam, Bree and Chase sneak out to meet Marcus in Davenport’s new self-driving sports car. When Leo tries to stop them, his nemesis Marcus traps him inside the car and programs it to take him on a wild, high-speed ride bound for the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

Beginning Saturday, February 9, fans can visit DisneyXD.com to watch “Lab Rats: Who Is Marcus?,” a short-form series that provides a sneak peek at the video logs of Leo Dooley, who is determined to uncover the truth about Mission Creek High School’s creepiest new student. In addition, on Monday, February 25, “Lab Rats: Leo’s Stealth Ops,” a new online game inspired by Tyrel Jackson Williams, will launch, along with behind-the-scenes videos that give viewers an inside look at Tyrel’s visit to Disney Interactive, where he helped concept the game. The season two premiere of “Lab Rats” will also be available on iTunes, Microsoft Xbox and Amazon beginning Tuesday, February 26.

Rico Rodriguez strikes a pose on the carpet while Cody Simpson strikes a chord on his guitar at TJ Martell Foundation 4th Annual Family Day LA over the weekend.

Rico hosted the event which raises money for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS research. Cody took the stage to perform some acoustic songs from his album and it was a day filled with food, a video game truck, bouncers/inflatable rides, a rock wall, balloon/caricature artists, and tons of other carnival games.

Other stars showing their support included Billy Unger, Raini Rodriguez, Olivia Holt, Dylan Riley Snyder, Katherine McNamara, Evan Hofer, Alli Simpson, Ryan Ochoa, and more.

Tons of Disney & Nickelodeon stars gathered at the Santa Monica Pier to help raise awareness and money for Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA. Stars signed autographs and also manned the booths for a day of fun and even dancing!

Happy 17th Birthday Billy Unger!

We want to wish a very happy 17th birthday to Billy Unger!

The “Lab Rats” star has been having a great celebration so far! The cast and crew of “Lab Rats” surprised him with a birthday cake last week before they headed out on hiatus. Then yesterday, Billy joined his family and friends, including co-star Kelli Berglund, at the happiest place on earth – Disneyland! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate!

If you want even more Billy, you can catch him hosting a new special on Disney XD called “My Life as an NBA Rookie.” The special will give audiences an inside look at some of today’s biggest NBA stars in their first year in the league and premieres MONDAY, OCTOBER 29 (7:00-7:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD as part of “Nothing But Net Marathon,” a sports-themed marathon featuring episodes of “Kickin’ It,” “Lab Rats” and “Crash & Bernstein” beginning at 5:00 p.m., ET/PT.

Hosted by Billy Unger, the special features exclusive footage of New Orleans Hornets’ power forward Anthony Davis practicing with the 2012 USA Basketball Men’s National Team; takes fans behind the scenes at the NBA Draft Combine and NBA Draft; looks at how players mentally and physically prepare for training camp and opening night; and reveals entertaining rookie duties.

Tyler Posey and Billy Unger: “Pitch Perfect” Premiere

Tyler Posey and Billy Unger decided to get “pitch slapped” by attending the premiere of Pitch Perfect at the Arclight Hollywood on Monday evening.

Billy ran over to the premiere after a busy day of work on “Lab Rats.” “Great day on set today filming #LabRats! Now, on my way to the “Pitch Perfect” premiere. #ChaseTheDream,” he tweeted.

Pitch Perfect is definitely one of the must-see movies of the year. It will have you laughing from start to finish and the music is aca-amazing!

Pitch Perfect opens in select theaters this Friday and everywhere October 5.

It’s back-to-school time and one of our favorite parts of this time of year is back-to-school supply shopping!

We caught up with Zendaya, Raini Rodriguez, Billy Unger, Jake Short, Olivia Holt, and Tyrel Jackson Williams on Saturday at the Boys & Girls Club of the Los Angeles Harbor for Radio Disney’s “Back to School Drive.” The stars joined forces with Disney VoluntEARS to give backpacks loaded with school supplies to more than 200 kids.

We chatted with all the stars about why the event was important, their favorite thing about surprising their fans, and of course, their favorite back-to-school supply shopping memory!

Are you the type that has to color coordinate your notebooks, pencils, etc? Is there a certain character you have to have on all your supplies?

“Lab Rats” Vs. “Pair of Kings” Vs. “Kickin’ It”: Meet the Disney Tryathalon Teams!

Your favorite Disney XD stars are teaming up with some of today’s top athletes and three lucky viewers for Disney’s “TRYathlon,” part of the ongoing “TRYit” initiative designed to inspire kids to get up, get outside and try something new.

The NFL’s Arian Foster (Houston Texans), the WNBA’s Candace Parker (Los Angeles Sparks) and the NBA’s Kevin Love (Minnesota Timberwolves) will coach young stars Leo Howard and Olivia Holt (“Kickin’ It”), Billy Unger and Spencer Boldman (“Lab Rats”) and Doc Shaw and Adam Hicks (“Pair of Kings”) who team with three viewers (hailing from Georgia, Oregon and Texas) to compete in fun challenges that will test their skills and their teamwork. The event will be hosted by “Lab Rats” stars Hal Sparks and Tyrel Jackson Williams and premieres Monday, August 13 at 8pm on Disney XD.

Disney XD’s “TRYathlon” is part of Disney’s Magic of Healthy Living, a program that inspires kids and families to lead healthier lifestyles by making nutritious eating and physical activity simple and fun.
