Camila Cabello has conquered music and now she’s ready to move on to the big screen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the “Never Be the Same” singer will be teaming up with Kay Cannon & James Corden to put a new spin on the classic fairytale of Cinderella and yes, music will be heavily involved.
Camila will star in the film and be involved in the music and all that is known about the plot as of now is that it will be a modern reimagining of the traditional tale of the orphaned girl with an evil stepmother, with a musical bent thrown in for good measure.
It will be helmed by Kay Cannon who is best known for directing Blockers and writing the Pitch Perfect movies and the idea for the film came from an original idea from James Corden who will also be producing.
We know there have been a lot of versions of Cinderella over the years including Disney’s live-action film starring Lily James and the A Cinderella Story franchise which has starred the likes of Selena Gomez & Lucy Hale, but it’s just one of those classic stories you can’t get enough of and we’re so excited to see Camila on the big screen.
