Just when you thought the theme to “Pretty Little Liars”, “Secrets,” couldn’t get any creepier, Freeform goes and gets Denmark + Winter to remix the song.
The opening sequence for the first episode of “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” was just released and it puts a new spin on the song all the fans know and love. “I love that we’re using the song, but it’s got a little bit of a twist to it,” Janel Parrish recently told Entertainment Tonight. “So it’s Pretty Little Liars, but with a little bit of an edgier twist.”
As for the opening credits, we won’t see the iconic shush or the same sequence every episode. Instead, the opening for each episode will see if you’re really paying attention because it will offer clues. Marlene I. King spilled to ET, “In every episode, there will be one shot [in] the intro that is an Easter egg of something that’s to come in the episode. It’s like our version of the PLL closers.”
