Lucy Hale & Tyler Posey Get Candid Playing Never Have I Ever & Talk ‘Truth or Dare’ Movie

We’re fans of “Teen Wolf” and “Pretty Little Liars” and our two worlds are colliding thanks to Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare.

The spooky thriller stars Lucy Hale & Tyler Posey as two college students who play an innocent game of truth or dare with their friends and a stranger. That game proves to be more than they imagined when it follows them home and starts picking off their friends when they refuse to play the game. The remaining friends must figure out how to put an end to this evil before it is too late.

Without spoiling the film, lets just say you might walk out of it thinking you’re now playing the game which is something director Jeff Wadlow was trying to achieve. He was actually inspired by The Ring which left him feeling like “wait, did I just watch the thing you’re not supposed to watch?” He added, “I wanted to end the movie with that feeling. I wanted people in the audience to feel like they’ve just been pulled into this truth or dare game.”

The movie does leave it open for a sequel but Jeff expressed that he hasn’t thought about a sequel but if it happens, he’s all for it. “I would love to do a sequel but I haven’t really thought too much about it yet because I’m a big believer in putting all your good ideas in the movie you’re working on now. If you plan on a sequel the chances are you’re not going to get to make one.”

When it comes to Lucy and Tyler, we asked them the biggest “dare” they’ve had to take when it comes to their acting career. For Tyler, he’s scared of emotional scenes while Lucy is the opposite and finds that comedic scenes push her out of her comfort zone the most. We also decided to play a fun game of Never Have I Ever with the duo where they reveal if they’ve lied to get a job, if they’ve gone streaking and they also talk about any weird rumors they’ve heard about themselves.
