Shawn Mendes sure knows how to make an announcement!
On Thursday, Shawn teased that he’d be doing something special at Radio City Music Hall and he did not disappoint. The 17-year-old grabbed his guitar and went on top of Radio City Music Hall for a surprise performance. He also announced that he will be playing the venue on March 5, 2016.
His concert at RCMH was not the only big announcement. Shawn also revealed that he will be re-releasing his debut album and calling it Handwritten Revisited. The album will be out Nov. 20 and will feature 4 new songs.
“I’m so excited to be able to share new songs on Handwritten Revisited both as a thank you to my fans and also to show my progression over the last year,” Shawn recently told MTV News. “I wrote all of the new songs over the past few months on the road, and they really speak to where I am right now as a songwriter. I’ve already performed a few of them live, like “Act Like You Love Me” and “Memories,” and can’t wait until people can hear the recordings of those finally.”
