The young cast for X-Men: Apocalypse is continuing to grow!
The upcoming film recently cast Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp & Sophie Turner as the young Cyclops, Storm and Jean Grey, respectively. Now Kodi Smit-McPhee has joined them as young Nightcrawler. Nightcrawler previously appeared in the franchise in X-Men 2 played by Alan Cumming.
Director Bryan Singer announced the news via Instagram saying, “Excited to welcome @kodismitmcphee to the cast of #XmenApocalypse as young #Nightcrawler.”
Kodi also took to social media to share his excitement saying, “I am humbled and honored to be joining this incredible project and to be able to tell the story of the well respected young mutant Nightcrawler. Thank you @Bryanjaysinger, and the passionate Xmen fans.”
