jessemccartney-hobsunsetit-090214Jesse McCartney brought his In Technicolor tour to the House of Blues in Hollywood on Monday, and there was no better way to spend Labor Day.

Jesse has been in the spotlight for the last 10+ years and he has truly proven himself to be not only a stellar vocalist, but a top notch performer. This guy truly leaves his heart and soul out there on the stage and if the screams from the crowd are any indication, he’ll be doing this for another 10+ years.

The 27-year-old kicked off his long set with hits like “How Do You Sleep?” and “Leavin’.” He then performed a number of songs off his new album, In Technicolor, including the piano ballad “The Other Guy,” the ultra catchy “Young Love,” and his current single “Superbad.” Mixed into the set were some old fan favorites including “She’s No You,” “It’s Over,” and “Body Language.”

In between songs, Jesse chatted with the crowd about his role on ABC Family’s “Young & Hungry,” (some of his co-stars were in the crowd) and how his latest album came to be thanks to some songwriting sessions with Ryan & Nash of Hot Chelle Rae. Jesse then closed the night out with the one and only “Beautiful Soul.”

There’s only a couple shows left on tour and if you have the chance to see Jesse live, we highly recommend it. To keep up with his tour dates, visit jessemac.com.
