“Girl Meets World” Renewed for a Second Season
Get ready for more crazy antics and life lessons from the Matthews family!
It’s no surprise to us, and probably the world, that Disney Channel has renewed “Girl Meets World” for a second season. The “Boy Meets World” spinoff show follows the lives of Cory and Topanga and their kids iddle schooler Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and little Auggie.
“Girl Meets World” has become the No. 1 TV show among kids ages 2 to 14 since its June 27 premiere on Disney Channel. “The series swiftly became a favorite of kids and their parents, many of whom grew up with Boy Meets World,” executive vice president of original programming at Disney Channels Worldwide Adam Bonnett said in a statement.
We know we have fallen in love with the show and can’t wait to see another season. The first season features cameos from “Boy Meets World” alums like Rider Strong, Betsy Randle, Lee Norris and more. With a season 2, our fingers are crossed that Will Friedle will reprise his role as Eric and maybe Matthew Lawrence can stop by too!
