Exclusive: Austin Mahone, The Vamps, Fifth Harmony & Shawn Mendes Take Over Nokia Theatre LA Live

austinmahone-tour-073114Downtown LA was filled with screaming girls on Wednesday night as Austin Mahone’s tour rolled through town.

The night kicked off with Vine & Youtube star Shawn Mendes performing songs from his debut EP including “Life of the Party” and “Show You.” The 15-year-old proved why he his EP is in the top 5 on iTunes which his sweet voice and charm.

Next up, the ladies of Fifth Harmony exploded onto the stage kicking their set off with a cover of “Chandelier” going into their hit “Miss Movin’ On.” In addition to closing their set with their single “Bo$$,” the girls gave the crowd a preview of their upcoming album by singing some new songs like “Over,” “Reflection,” and “Going Nowhere.” We cannot wait for more new music from the girls. Plus, we need to learn how to whip our hair and give some sass like them. They own the stage!

After 5H, the lads from The Vamps brought their high energy to the crowd performing songs from their debut US EP, “Somebody to You.” Brad, Tristan, James and Connor rocked out to “Wild Heart,” “Somebody to You,” “Last Night,” and a fun cover of Jason Derulo’s “Trumpets.” They ended their set with “Cecilia.”

Finally, Austin took the stage and showed off his dynamics as a performer. The 18-year-old danced up a storm and showed off his softer side with an acoustic set. From “Say My Name” to “Til I Find You” to “Can’t Fight This Love,” Austin fed off the screams of the girls and poured his heart out. When he slowed things down, he performed a cute cover of George Strait’s “Check Yes or No” as well as a beautiful cover of John Legend’s “All of Me.” Austin ended his set with “What About Love” and “Mmm Mmm Yeah.” Oh, and did we mention a lucky girl got to go on stage and be serenaded by Austin? Amazing!
