NBC will be airing a two-hour unprecedented behind-the-scenes concert special called “Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour” on Sunday, July 6 from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT. The special will focus on Cyrus’ concerts from the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain and MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.
“There are few recording artists with the global success achieved by Miley Cyrus,” said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment. “This unique special will offer an exclusive peek on how she engages with her crew and fans at one of her hugely popular concerts.”
Miley’s tour has definitely been one of the most talked about so we’re are definitely interested to see what parts of her show actually make the cut in the TV special.
“Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour” will be produced by Done and Dusted and directed by Diane Martel and Russell Thomas. Executive producers are Miley Cyrus, Hamish Hamilton, Ian Stewart, Simon Pizey, Tish Cyrus, Larry Rudolph, Adam Leber, Melissa Ruderman and Bill Sobel.
