Production and rehearsals for Pitch Perfect 2 started this month and many of the cast were announced to return including Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin, Ester Dean, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Adam Devine. Even newcomers like Chrissie Fit, Hailee Steinfeld & Katey Segal were announced to join the flick. There was just one cast member we were waiting to hear about – Anna Camp!
Anna’s character Aubrey graduated alongside Brittany Snow’s Chloe in the first movie so once Brittany was announced to return, the gleam of hope for Anna to return as well began. She hasn’t been pictured in all the casts’ behind-the-scenes photos so we started to worry she would be MIA.
Thankfully, THR just reported that Anna has finally closed her deal to return for the aca-sequel. There’s no word on just how Anna’s Aubrey, or even Brittany’s Chloe but we know we can’t wait to see them return.
Set to hit theaters on May 15, 2015, the sequel follows Fat Amy (Wilson) and Beca (Kendrick) through their senior year at Barden University. Are you excited for Pitch Perfect 2.
