It was a big night for some of your favorites as your votes helped some of them take home a coveted ARDY. Selena Gomez, One Direction, Fifth Harmony, Taylor Swift and Zendaya were among the winners at the star-studded show which included performances by Austin Mahone, Becky G, Zendaya, R5, Fifth Harmony and Ariana Grande, with the debut performance of new single “Problem” from her forthcoming second studio album.

In addition, Ariana Grande received the Radio Disney Chart Topper Award which reflects her staying power on the Radio Disney charts (three top five singles for a combined 73 weeks). R5 received the Radio Disney Showstopper Award in recognition of their dedication to fan engagement and their U.S. and international touring and live event appearances across the country.

Justin Timberlake, Liam Payne of One Direction & Demi Lovato couldn’t attend the awards show but they made sure to send in special video messages to thank everyone for voting for them.

In addition to the music awards, the RDMAs honored Shakira with the Hero Award for her work through her Barefoot Foundation, which improves the lives of children through education.
