Congrats to Cameron Boyce!
The “Jessie” star rounds out the key casting of the 4 lead villain kids in the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Descendants.” The 14-year-old joins the movie as Carlos, the son of Cruella de Vil. Hmm, do you think he’ll inherit her wild hair?
Cameron joins previously announced cast members Dove Cameron (“Liv and Maddie”) as Mal, the daughter of Maleficent. Booboo Stewart (“Twilight”) has been announced to play Jay, the son of Jafar. Latina newcomer Sofia Carson will play the role of Evvie, the daughter of the Evil Queen, and Australian newcomer Mitchell Hope has been cast as Ben, the son of Belle and the Beast.
“Descendants” is a live-action Disney Channel Original Movie directed by Kenny Ortega (“High School Musical”, “Newsies”) and slated to release in 2015 on the Disney Channel. Production will begin late spring.
