“Girl Meets World” Recruits “Boy Meets World” Bad Boy & Ben Savage to Make Directorial Debut!
Another fan favorite from “Boy Meets World” is heading to “Girl Meets World”!
The Disney Channel spin-off of the hit 90s show is already shaping up to be, well, awesome and we don’t even have a premiere date yet! “Girl Meets World” has been snagging a ton of “Boy Meets World” favorites like Rider Strong, William Daniels & Lee Norris for upcoming episodes and now we know another alum who will be returning.
BMW’s resident bad boy, Harley (or Harvey according to his sister Theresa aka TK) Keiner played by Danny McNulty, will be popping up. Ben Savage took to instagram over the weekend to share a photo of the two saying “Welcome back to our friend “Harley Keiner.” From the looks of it, Harley is either a janitor or a mechanic and lets just say he’s lost some of that perfectly coiffed hair we loved. Do you think he’ll still call Cory “baboon”?
Also, Ben Savage will be following in the footsteps of his big brother Fred and stepping behind the camera. According to THR, Ben will be making his directorial debut on an episode of “Girl Meets World.” “It’s something I’ve been prepping for for the last 20 years,” Savage tells THR.
The episode that Ben will be directing, which begins production at the end of the month, centers on a makeover led by Cory’s and Topanga’s teenage daughter and her friends. “In an effort to make an odd girl more appealing to Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis), Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) remake her in their image. But Farkle shows everyone that true beauty comes from within.”
We cannot wait for “Girl Meets World.” What other alums do you hope pop up?
