ABC Family has announced that they’ve renewed “Baby Daddy” & “Melissa & Joey” for fourth seasons. We cannot wait to see what kind of crazy antics come in the new season. Seasons 3 of the hit comedies are currently airing.

According to TV Guide, the network has also picked up three drama pilots – “Alice in Arabia,” “Recovery Road” and “Unstrung.” “Alice in Arabia” is a high-stakes drama about a rebellious American teenage girl who, after tragedy befalls her parents, is unknowingly kidnapped by her extended family, who are Saudi Arabian. The pilot was written by former U.S. Army cryptologic linguist Brooke Eikmeier.

“Recovery Road” is based on a young adult novel and tells the story of a teenage girl dealing with addiction who is forced into rehab. The pilot was written by Easy A’s Bert V. Royal and Ruby & The Rockits’ Karen DiConcetto.

These three powerful new dramas are a great fit with ABC Family’s brand of original programming known for diverse stories that challenge as well as entertain our viewers,” said Tom Ascheim, president of ABC Family. “We’re also delighted to produce more episodes of Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy, two series that together have helped ABC Family establish a strong comedy block that continues to make our audience laugh out loud.”
