Miley Cyrus followed up her gig on “Saturday Night Live” by taking over The Today Show on Monday morning.
Miley drops her new album Bangerz tomorrow and she sat down to chat with Matt Lauer in…well…somewhat of an awkward interview.
In regards to her VMA performance, Miley said, “I don’t ever really plan to offend people but sometimes that just happens. I think sometimes people they’re not open to what they don’t understand. That’s why what I’m doing is for my fans. They’re all really young and they understand what I’m doing. It went as planned…it’s a month later and we’re still talking about it.”
Check out her full interview above where she also talks about Sinead O’Connor. Miley also took the stage to perform “Wrecking Ball,” “Party in the USA”
